World TB Day, held on March 24 each year, is an occasion for people around the world to raise awareness about the international health threat presented by tuberculosis? Many people think that TB is a disease of the past – an illness that no longer threatens us today, but that's not correct as TB continues to be one of the deadliest diseases in the world.
